Individual Therapy

Maybe you’ve been Googling your symptoms at midnight, convinced something is wrong with you. Maybe you’re smiling through baby showers while quietly falling apart. Maybe your relationship with food has been a full-time job since you were a teenager, and you’re exhausted from fighting your own body. Maybe you just got a diagnosis that changed everything, or you’re postpartum and nobody warned you it could feel like this. Whatever brought you here — it makes sense that you’re here.

Oak Harbor Wellness works with women navigating some of the most physically and emotionally demanding experiences life throws at them. Fertility treatments, pregnancy loss, postpartum depression, perinatal mental health, perimenopause, eating disorders, body image struggles, trauma, intimacy, and the messy, nonlinear process of building a family — these aren’t small things. They deserve real, specialized support from someone who actually gets it. You’re not broken. You’re carrying a lot. And there’s a meaningful difference between those two things.

Couples Counseling

Maybe you love each other but can’t seem to get through a single conversation without it turning into a fight — or worse, silence. Maybe you’ve been through something that cracked the foundation a little, and you’re not sure how to find your way back to each other. Maybe intimacy has quietly disappeared and neither of you knows how to bring it up. Maybe you’re two people who genuinely want the same future but keep getting in each other’s way trying to get there.

Relationships are hard. Loving someone well is a skill — and nobody teaches you how.

Oak Harbor Wellness works with couples at every stage — newly committed and trying to build something solid, years in and feeling the drift, navigating infertility or pregnancy loss together, rebuilding trust after betrayal, working through mismatched desire, or figuring out what your relationship looks like on the other side of a major life transition. Straight couples, queer couples, married, partnered, somewhere in between — you’re welcome here exactly as you are.

Good therapy doesn’t take sides. It helps you both actually hear each other, maybe for the first time in a while.

Meet Lindsay Merrell, LCSW — The Therapist Behind Oak Harbor Wellness
